Product Description

Incoloy 925 Seamless Tube – High-Strength Corrosion-Resistant Solution

TSM Technology's Incoloy 925 Seamless Tube delivers where standard alloys fall short. This age-hardenable nickel-iron-chromium tube (UNS N09925) achieves yield strength up to 758 MPa while resisting chloride stress-corrosion cracking in H₂S environments. We have a 60,000 square meter workshop with more than 100 precise machinery and a production capacity of 100-200 tons/month. We strictly conform to ASTM B423, NACE MR0175 and API 5CRA regulations. All products are ultrasonically tested, hydrostatically verified, and PMI-analyzed for zero-defect performance in the most demanding applications.

What Are Incoloy 925 Seamless Tubes?

The product is a nickel alloy, age-hardenable for severe service conditions.

Unlike welded alternatives, our seamless architecture has no longitudinal weld seams (the weakest link in high pressure systems). This tube provides the corrosion resistance of Incoloy 825 with the precipitation hardening capacity of titanium and aluminum additions.

This makes for strength and chemical resistance in a single material. It’s perfect for settings where hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide and chlorides destroy standard steels. Your equipment remains on line longer, eliminating expensive downtime.

What Are the Features of Incoloy 925 Seamless Tube?

Age-Hardening Capability

Heat treatment elevates yield strength beyond conventional austenitic stainless steels. You gain structural integrity without adding bulk.

Seamless Construction

Zero longitudinal welds mean no weak zones. This design prevents premature failure under cyclic loading.

Superior Corrosion Resistance

High Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) for resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and sulfide stress cracking

Wide Temperature Range

Dependable performance from Cryogenic to 550°C. Your activities remain steady over temperature cycles.

Dimensional Precision

Our tight tolerances and polished finishes reduce installation time and seal failure risks.

Applications

Downhole Oil and Gas

Downhole Oil and Gas

Production tubing, tool joints and polished bore receptacles for sour gas wells. This tube retains its mechanical integrity even when H₂S and CO₂ concentrations surge.

Subsea Engineering

Subsea Engineering

Deepwater piping systems, high strength fasteners, wellhead components. Your infrastructure will not be affected by seawater corrosion and pressure.

Chemical Processing

Chemical Processing

Valves, pumps and heat exchangers for phosphoric and sulphuric acids The seamless construction prevents leaks even under intense chemical assault.

Marine Equipment

Marine Equipment

Shafting and structural components where Incoloy 925 Seamless Tube saltwater exposure is constant. You avoid the galvanic corrosion issues plaguing traditional materials.

What Is the Production Process of Incoloy 925 Seamless Tube?

1. Material Selection

We get high quality nickel, chromium and molybdenum from approved vendors. The chemical composition is checked before melting.

2. Melting under vacuum

Homogeneous ingots are produced in electric arc furnaces in regulated atmospheres. This removes the contaminants that cause it to be brittle.

3. Hot-Extrusion

Hot billets are perforated and extruded via mandrels to produce seamless tubing. No welding = consistent wall thickness.

4. Cold Pilgrimage

The final proportions and an improved surface polish are obtained via precision cold working. Your tubes are ready to connect.

5. Solution Annealing

The tubes are heated to 1775°F (968°C) then immediately cooled. This dissolves precipitates and prepares it for age hardening.

6.Age hardening (precipitation hardening)

Maximum strength is obtained by aging at 1300oF (704oC) for 8 hours with production of titanium and aluminum carbide.

7. Final Inspection

Every tube passes ultrasonic testing, eddy current inspection, and hydrostatic pressure testing before shipment.

Quality Inspection

TSM Technology's multi-tier inspection protocol guarantees performance:

  • Hydrostatic Testing: Verifies pressure containment per API 5CRA
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT): Detects internal flaws per ASTM E213
  • Eddy Current Testing (ET): Identifies surface discontinuities per ASTM E426
  • Mechanical Testing: Tensile, hardness (Rockwell C), and Charpy impact tests confirm age-hardening success
  • Positive Material Identification (PMI): X-ray fluorescence ensures chemical compliance
  • Corrosion Resistance Testing: Intergranular corrosion (ASTM G28) and SSC tests validate NACE compliance

Full traceability documentation (MTR, QAC, ITP) accompanies every order.

FAQ

Q: What's the difference between Incoloy 825 and Incoloy 925?

A: Incoloy 925 is age hardenable, and may be heat treated to reach greater strength. Incoloy 825 has high corrosion resistance but cannot be precipitation hardened to improve mechanical strength.

Q. Do you have a NACE MR0175 sour service compliant tube?

A: Yes. The heat treatment procedure we use guarantees the material satisfies the hardness and corrosion resistance standards of NACE MR0175/ISO 15156. Full compliance documentation available.

Q: Can these tubes be welded successfully?

A: Seamless tubes do not have any weld seams. If joining is required, utilize filler metals such as Inconel 725 or 625. With proper heat treatment before and after welding, corrosion resistance and strength is maintained.

Q: What's the typical lead time for custom sizes?

A: Standard sizes ship within 20–25 days. Custom dimensions require 35–45 days depending on order volume. Stock items (common sizes) can ship within 7 days.

Q: How do you ensure dimensional accuracy?

A: Our cold pilgriming process achieves tight tolerances of ±0.1mm on wall thickness and ±0.5mm on outer diameter. Final inspection uses laser micrometers and CMM equipment for verification.
