High-Performance Hastelloy C22 Round Bar – Superior Corrosion Resistance for Critical Chemical Processing

If your operations need robust chemical resistance, the Hastelloy C22 Round Bar offers proven protection against hostile media. Our bars are produced in our TSM Technology plant (60,000) with 100+ precision equipment, ISO 9001 and AS9100D certified. Bars are produced to ASTM B574, minimum tensile strength 690 MPa, minimum yield strength 310 MPa, PREN value >45. Each product is tested by Ultrasonic Testing, PMI testing and ASTM G28 Intergranular Corrosion Testing for Aerospace, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical applications for full traceability with EN 10204 3.1 certification.

What are the Hastelloy C22 Round Bar?

Hastelloy C22 Round Bar (UNS N06022) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy that is resistant to localized pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It is a 56 % nickel base which gives endurance in reducing situations and 22 % chromium content protects against oxidizing acids with chloride ions. The alloy outperforms standard stainless steels and fills performance gaps in unexpected chemical process streams with wet chlorine, nitric acid and mixed oxidizers.

Production and Processing Technology

TSM Technology has a fully integrated line of manufacturing in our 60,000building. We start with high quality raw materials from approved sources and remove impurities using a vacuum induction melting (VIM) process coupled with electroslag remelting (ESR). Hot forging and multistep rolling to exact grain structure. We manufacture on more than 100 precise CNC machines to achieve tight tolerances. The best corrosion resistance was achieved at solution annealing of 1120-1160C. Every product is produced to aerospace-grade perfection, guarantyd by our AS9100D certification.

Each bar conforms to ASTM B160, B166 and B574 and is:

· Chemical composition: OES, XRF, ICP check

· Mechanical Tests: Tensile, yield, elongation, hardness (Rockwell B)

· NDT: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), Penetrant Testing (PT)

· Dimensional inspection: diameter, length, straightness according to ISO standards

· Surface Inspection: Visual inspection for faults

· Metallography: Grain size and phase distribution analysis

· Intergranular Corrosion: ASTM G28 Methods A & B

· PMI Testing: Positive Material Identification for verifying alloys
