TSM Technology delivers enterprise-grade Monel 400 Seamless Tube engineered for extreme corrosion resistance and pressure integrity. Our seamless tubes feature precision manufacturing capabilities of 100–200 tons/month, with tight dimensional tolerances: OD 6–219 mm, wall thickness 0.5–15 mm. Compliant with ASTM B165 and ASME SB165 standards, each tube undergoes ultrasonic and eddy current testing in our 50,000㎡ AS9100D-certified facility. With over 14 years of experience serving 70+ countries, we guarantee superior grain structure uniformity and eliminate weld-line corrosion risks for your critical fluid handling applications.
The product is a high-performance nickel-copper alloy piping solution manufactured through solid extrusion processes. This eliminates longitudinal weld seams. The alloy is around 67 percent Nickel and 23 percent Copper. This overcomes important problems in chloride-rich situations where ordinary stainless steels are not satisfactory.
Seamless construction provides a homogeneous grain structure as opposed to welded alternatives. This is vital to the safe handling of volatile chemicals and high-pressure steam. You gain improved pressure integrity without heat impacted zones that damage welded tubes. The seamless design maintains consistent wall thickness throughout. Your operations benefit from enhanced reliability in corrosive marine and chemical processing environments.

TSM Technology manufactures tubes conforming to multiple international standards:
All Monel 400 Seamless Tube products come with full material traceability documentation including MTC, SGS, BV, and TUV certifications.
Exceptional Corrosion Resistance
You are practically immune to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking. This makes it suitable for seawater and brine service where stainless steel fails.
Superior Pressure Integrity
Seamless construction provides 20% higher allowable working pressures compared to welded tubes according to ASME codes.
Wide Temperature Range
The alloy maintains structural integrity from cryogenic temperatures to 538°C (1000°F). Your systems operate reliably across extreme conditions.
Excellent Hydrofluoric Acid Resistance
It withstands hydrofluoric acid in all concentrations up to boiling point. This is a critical requirement for chemical alkylation units.
Enhanced Weldability
The material joins easily without hot cracking. You can fabricate complex piping systems without compromising corrosion resistance.
Uniform Grain Structure
Seamless manufacturing eliminates heat-affected zones. This ensures consistent mechanical properties throughout the tube length.
Marine Engineering
Your offshore platform splash zone pipework is free from bio-fouling and chloride attack. Seawater heat exchangers - no pitting corrosion and hence efficiency is maintained.
Chemical Process
The hydrofluoric acid alkylation units must be seamless or catastrophic leaks may occur. The tubes are capable of handling hazardous chemicals in sulphuric acid production facilities safely.
Generation of power
High velocity steam conditions are seen in boiler feed pipes and high pressure feedwater heaters. This substance is used in deaerated water systems for nuclear and fossil fuel facilities.
Petroleum and Gas
These tubes are used in crude oil distillation units for heat exchange in corrosive situations. They perform well in sour gas conditions such as hydrogen sulphide.
Aerospace & Defence
Aircraft hydraulic systems need corrosion resistant fluid transfer lines. The tubes comply with rigorous aerospace requirements for safety essential applications.
TSM Technology has a modern manufacturing building of 60,000 square meters. Our plant is a whole manufacturing chain from melting to final inspection. Main equipment: vacuum induction furnaces, hot extrusion presses, multi-stage cold drawing equipment, brilliant annealing furnaces. Advanced testing facilities have ultrasonic, eddy current and radiographic inspection technologies.

Our nickel and copper are of high grade and from recognised vendors. A spectroscopic study is performed on each batch to confirm the chemical makeup.
Vacuum induction furnaces melt materials to avoid oxidation. Continuous casting gives billets uniform structure.
Heated billets pass through precision dies in our 100+ machine facility. This creates seamless tubes without longitudinal welds.
Multiple drawing passes achieve precise dimensions and improved surface finish. Your tubes meet tight tolerance requirements down to ±0.05mm.
Optimum corrosion resistance is obtained via controlled temperature solution annealing. This technique reduces the internal tensions of the forming operation.
Bright annealing, pickling or polishing eliminates scale and impurities. You prepare tubes to insert.
All tubes are dimensionally inspected and non-destructively tested. We have 100% compliance before shipping by our quality control.

TSM Technology maintains ISO 9001, AS9100D, and AS9120 certifications. Our comprehensive testing includes:
Full traceability documentation accompanies every order, including QAC, ITP, and MTR certificates.

Q: How do the products differ from Monel K500?
A: Monel 400 is corrosion resistant alloy in solid-solution range . K500 has aluminium and Titanium for precipitation hardening. Higher strength less ductility. Use 400 for common corrosion applications and K500 if you require higher mechanical strength.
Q: Can Monel 400 be used in oxidizing acids?
A: It's not suggested for strongly oxidising acids like nitric acid. Rapid attack is caused by the copper content. But it is quite good in reducing conditions like hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid.
Q: What is the maximum service temperature for the product?
A: You can safely operate up to 538°C (1000°F) in air. Above this temperature oxidation rates rise substantially and mechanical characteristics deteriorate.
Q: Why choose seamless over welded Monel 400 tubes?
A. Seamless tubes are allowed to operate at 20% greater pressure per ASME regulations. They prevent the potential of preferential weld-line corrosion and offer homogeneous wall thickness with no heat impacted zones.
Q: Is Monel 400 susceptible to Stress Corrosion Cracking?
A: Yes, it is virtually impervious to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking. This is the principal cause of failure of stainless steels in marine atmospheres and chloride solutions.
Q: What certificates do you provide with shipments?
A: Each purchase comes with Material Test Certificates (MTC), Mill Test Reports (MTR) and third party certification from SGS, BV or TUV upon request. We provide complete traceability documentation for aerospace and nuclear applications.
Q: Do you have bespoke sizes outside of your usual sizes?
A: Totally. We are flexible in our manufacture and can accept specific dimensions, lengths up to 12 m and unique surface treatments. Kindly contact our technical staff with your exact requests.
